State Police Charge New York City Man With Driving Stolen Car In Cornwall

CORNWALL, N.Y. – State Police charged a New York City man with possessing a stolen vehicle during a routine traffic stop on Interstate 87 in Cornwall on Saturday.

Troopers pulled over Joel F. Narchet, 20, for several vehicle and traffic violations. Narchet was placed under arrest after it was discovered the vehicle had been reported stolen to the New York City Police Department, Troopers said.

Narchet was charged with possession of stolen property as well as several vehicle violations. He was remanded to Orange County Jail, Troopers said.
